When considering this week’s documentary (White Like Me) and reading (Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack) you must write a short research essay of
no less than 600 words and no greater than 800 words (this is approximately 1½ – 2 pages doublespaced). Your essay will relate to key terms discussed this week.
You must select
three of the terms listed below to define and discuss. Note: I would hope that you picked three terms for which you are unfamiliar (or less familiar). You must then: (1) research and define the term, (2) write about your thoughts on the implications/impact/ of the term/action.

Each of the three terms that you choose should be included in one essay. Your essay should simply be a paragraph or so about each of the three terms of your choice.
Your essay must include research from at least 2 different, credible sources. By the way, Wikipedia is NOT a credible source.
Your submission must also adhere to college-level writing standards, including a thesis statement, introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
Your essay must be written using proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
Your essay should be written with using American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines. The Purdue Owl website has lots of helpful information on the APA guidelines. Note: You are not required to submit an abstract.
